Hi friends, it’s Harper here with another fun travel story! This time, I’m taking you to one of the most famous museums in the world—the Louvre in Paris! Now, if you’re like me, walking through a giant museum might not sound super exciting at first. But let me tell you, when you’re on a scavenger hunt at the Louvre, it’s a totally different experience. We booked a special tour through Family Twist, and it turned a regular museum visit into an unforgettable adventure!
The Coolest Kid-Focused Tour Guide
Right off the bat, I knew this tour was going to be amazing. Our guide met us at the entrance, and after skipping the long line (yes, we got to skip the line—so cool!), he made it super clear that this tour was all about me. He even told the adults that they were just along for the ride, which I thought was hilarious. It felt so awesome knowing that the guide’s main focus was making sure I had fun and learned a ton.
Let the Scavenger Hunt Begin!
As soon as we entered the museum, the guide handed me a booklet with clues and a pencil. The booklet had all sorts of puzzles and riddles that led me to specific pieces of art and artifacts throughout the Louvre. From ancient Egyptian statues to famous paintings, each clue brought us to something new and exciting.
🔍 This reminded me of my adventure in London’s Black Cab Tour, where I uncovered hidden gems around the city!
The Louvre is massive, and it can be overwhelming if you’re just wandering around. But on a scavenger hunt, you don’t even notice how big it is because you’re so focused on solving clues and finding your next stop. It made exploring the museum super fun and interactive.
Learning About Art in a Fun Way
One of my favorite parts of the tour was how our guide explained everything. He answered all my questions about the art pieces, no matter how random or silly they might have seemed. He made history and art come to life in a way that was easy for me to understand.
For example, when we found the famous Winged Victory of Samothrace, he told me all about its history and why it’s such an important sculpture. He also made sure to tell cool stories about each piece we found, which made the whole experience even more engaging.
The Ultimate Prize – My Very Own Mona Lisa Puzzle
At the end of the scavenger hunt, I solved the final clue and found the prize—a Mona Lisa puzzle just for me! It was such a fun way to wrap up the tour, and now I have a little piece of the Louvre to take home with me.
Why This Tour Is a Must-Do for Families
If you’re visiting the Louvre with your family, I 100% recommend booking this scavenger hunt tour through Family Twist. It’s the perfect way to explore the museum without feeling overwhelmed. The guide makes sure kids are having a blast while still learning about some of the world’s most famous art pieces.
Trust me, this isn’t just any regular museum tour—it’s an adventure that turns the Louvre into a giant puzzle waiting to be solved. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon in Paris, this is a must-do experience.
Until next time, happy exploring! 🎨🗼
